Modern Times Review

Modern Times, in my eyes, is a very good film. Although. most of the film is silent it was easy to understand what was going on. I think my favorite thing about the film is that Charlie Chaplin's character managed to be hilarious even without ever speaking. I found it amazing how one minute i was dying of laughter, then all of a sudden I feel sad, or just dead serious. Through out the movie Chaplin creates many bad situations, so I thought I might not be pleased with the ending, predicting it was going to be depressing. That's a thing I really liked because to me the movie was extremely unpredictable, so it kept my attention the whole time. I never thought I would like a film made so long before i was born, but I do. I can honestly say that Modern Times is one of the best films I've seen.
