An Inconvenient Truth

Watching An Inconvenient Truth taught me many things about our world. The things that stood out the most to me were when Al Gore would show a graph including all the countries and what role they play in the climate change, and America always seemed to play a huge role. I also learned that there are actually people out there ignorant enough to not even consider this a real problem. Our planet, if this problem continues, will go through dramatic changes like enormous pieces of ice melting away, as we already have been seeing since before 2005. This documentary is not recent, yet the information is terrifying, and I;m pretty sure the problem has not improved if anything it is still increasing every year. I learned that we can do many things to stop or at least control this problem. yet the government refuses, but why?
